Easter Sunday Worship Celebration - 2008Pastor Steve Baptizes Chuck Wright.Faith United Church is a group of people who simply love Jesus Christ and are trying our best to show others that He loves them too. We believe the Bible is true, so we're trying to learn as much of what it says as we can and then apply that  to the way we live. We're not fancy and we're not "religious." We're just regular folks who are trying to live life in the everyday world. We're trying to be authentic in living what we believe; we're trying to be good workers and make a living while taking good care of our finances and resources; we're trying to have stronger marriages and learn what it really means to be a man or a woman; we're trying to do a good job of raising our children while helping them to make sense of life, too; we're trying to make a positive contribution in our community while living among our friends and neighbors.

For almost seven years now Faith United has been trying to achieve our God-given vision of becoming, "The church that can't be ignored." That statement has absolutely nothing to do with being flashy or drawing attention to ourselves. It has everything to Easter Worship Celebration - 2008do with living our lives the way Jesus taught us to, and showing His love to everyone in our community. We understand that "church" has become kind of irrelevant for a lot of people these days. We think that might be because some churches have given up their place in the community. We hate to admit it, but Faith United has been guilty of that, too. A lot of what we were doing was for us and it wasn't showing God's love to anyone. So, we've been working real hard in the last few years to change that and be a relevant, authentic, positive part of our community. We're not fancy, we're just regular people who believe that God loves everyone; that what the Bible says is true; and that Jesus Christ died Senior Adult / Teen Fellowshipwillingly to take the punishment for our sins.

"Grandpa" Baade and Lily. When we're together at our Hill Road facility, Faith United Church is a casual and relaxed place where people can come and worship God, learn from the Bible, and make some good friends. It is a friendly place where everyone is welcome to "come as you are," and worship God through Worship Celebrations, taking care of various tasks around the church, and contributing to our community in a variety of ways.

Come Worship With Us!
Faith United Church
Because we are followers of Jesus Christ, it is our mission, both individually and as a congregation, to carry out His instructions. He said, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere (Mark 16:15 NLT)."

Pastor Steve Baptizes Roger Long.We at Faith United Church are unapologetic about our desire to spread the hope and good news that is contained in the message of Jesus Christ. However, that does not mean we're out to make everyone like us. We understand that we're not going to introduce people to Jesus Christ by offending them or being rude. We also understand that being Christian does not make us perfect, so we don't pretend to be. Faith United Church is made up 100% of imperfect, flawed, sinful people who simply came to understand, at some point in their lives, that Jesus Christ died so that they could be forgiven of sin and stand clean before God. We've found a way of life that works, both now and in eternity, and we want to share it with everyone.

By the way,
do YOU know
JESUS?

Easter Worship Celebration - 2008We completely understand that Faith United Church is not the only church in town. There are lots of wonderful, Bible-believing, Christian churches and we consider all of them to be part of the same faith family we are. We pray for them often and work alongside them whenever we can. That said, God has given Faith United Church a unique personality and place within His work. Pastor Steve Baptizes Cheri Lewis.

Since 2001 God has blessed Faith United Church with an influx of younger households. This has changed the whole personality of the church. We've become more casual and contemporary in our worship style. We've also become much more involved in our community.

(L to R) Diane Wright, Chuck Wright and Roger Long working at the recent food distribution. Are you looking for a place where you can worship God, learn from the Bible, be around real, everyday people, and get involved with showing God's love to others? If so, Faith United Church might just be the perfect place for you. We're not fancy and we're not all that big ...yet. But, if Heather VanWagoner and Gretchen Baadeyou're looking for a place to plug in, get involved, and grow in the Christian faith, we can say without hesitation, "come as you are and you will be welcomed!"

We'd like you to consider this your invitation to come and check out Faith United. The Pastor is available to answer any questions that you might have.

We hope to meet you in person soon!
