Bible Study

Everyone is invited to “Bibles-N-Beans,” our lunchtime Bible Study on Thursdays, 12:10pm. This study group is designed for those who want to go a little deeper into God’s Word, without losing another evening at home every week. It is a fast-paced, no-frills, jump-right-in kind of study that always begins at 12:10pm sharp and ends by 12:40pm. It is perfect for those who want to grab some lunch on the way and spend 30 minutes in highly focused study.

This time around we are going through an inductive study, “COVENANT,” an in-depth look at God’s covenant promises that will help us better understand the depths and greatness of our Salvation. As always, there is no charge for the class. We ask only that you e-mail us if you plan on coming so that we can have your materials ready for you.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Grab some lunch and come join us -- we’ll supply the coffee! The study is always relevant and the coffee is always fresh ground. Bring some lunch and join us!

At Faith United Church we believe the Bible is the Word of God and that it contains the Truth. We are committed to learning as much as we can about what the Bible teaches and then living out those teachings in our everyday lives. We work very hard to make sure the Bible is preached and taught in a variety of ways.

Pastor Steve is firmly committed to simple, Biblical preaching. His style is expository, a method of preparing and delivering a sermon that lets the Bible speak for itself and majors on practical application. To learn more about the Pastor's current sermon series, click here.

With two adult classes, a teen class and two children's classes, Sunday School at Faith United Church is a time when individuals can participate in classes geared just for them. While the fellowship is good, the emphasis is on studying the Scriptures. Children's classes feature age-appropriate lessons and a gentler approach. The Teen Class is a little more high-energy and involves practical application. The Adult Classes are discussion-driven and attempt to apply Biblical principles to 21st century living.

Faith United Church also gathers on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. There are three different groups that meet at the same time, allowing us to involve all ages in some kind of Bible Study.

ADULTS are usually involved in a discussion-driven time of prayer and Bible study that is sometimes supported with a DVD or other visual aids. Everyone is always welcome.

TEENS are currently meeting with Youth Directors, CHRIS & JESSICA SAMPSON, in our Teen Center for an hour that includes Bible Study, as well as worship, recreation and food. This group includes teens in grades 6-12. For more information on our Teen Ministry, CLICK HERE.

CHILDREN meet in our newly-rennovated Children's Center for "FaithWeaver Friends," an hour of active Bible Study that also includes music, crafts and recreation. This group includes both preschool and elementary age children. For more information on our Children's Ministry, CLICK HERE.

The Faith United Church C.O.G. Group is a ministry of and for younger adults. They meet once a month for Bible Study and fellowship. Listed below are the dates and host for each one. All the studies start at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome! Here is the remaining schedule:

Financial Peace University is actually much more than a Bible Study. This is the comprehensive financial course that is promoted through the radio ministry of Dave Ramsey. The DVD-based curriculum features a Biblical approach to money, sprinkled with Ramsey's "no-nonsense approach to personal finance. Faith United is pleased to offer it at various times throughout the year. A NEW CLASS IS BEGINNING THIS SPRING!!!
