CLICK HERE TO VIEW LAST WEEK'S SERMON THIS WEEK'S SCHEDULE: BIBLES & BEANS: We’re getting together just about every Sunday at 10:00am for a relaxed time of prayer, fellowship and Bible study. The coffee is always fresh-ground and the conversation is always Spirit-lead. Its a great way to lead into the Worship Celebration. This week we're continuing a study of the book of 2 Timothy and around a pot of fresh-ground coffee. Come join us! GOD’S HOUSE-CLEANING: WE NEED SOME HELP!!! If you’re willing to help keep our building clean, there is a SIGN-UP SHEET in the foyer. We’re asking families, or groups of individuals to clean the building for one or two weeks this summer. The cleaning is done according to a checklist and should be done Thursday, Friday, or Satuday (your convenience) of the week(s) you choose. Just sign up TODAY for the week or weeks that you can help. Thank you! WHAT ARE THOSE PAPER CLIPS FOR? We’re glad you asked! We have recently initiated "Paper Clip Offerings," every Sunday. The way it works is very simple: Every week when you put your Tithe in your envelope, paper clip an offering to the outside. This offering can be $1, $5, $10... whatever you wish, above your Tithe. Paper clips are available at the back of the Sanctuary when you come in every Sunday.CHARACTER(S): is a Bible study on having character (or being one). Some of the material is from a book by Max Lucado called, “Cast of Characters,” and Pastor Steve has developed a workbook with short thoughts and action steps that lead up to each Wednesday study. EVERYONE is welcome (yes, that means YOU)! See Pastor Steve for a copy of the workbook and come join us THIS Wednesday, 6:30pm! FOOD DROPS: We will be distributing food to the needy on Wednesday, September 29. LOTS of volunteers are needed from about 5:00pm - 8:00pm. The distribution will begin at 6:00pm. This project is being conducted in cooperation with our friends at CrossOver Downtown Ministries, The FoodBank of Eastern Michigan, The Detroit Pistons, and our Fenton Road Kroger. Welcome to our little slice of cyber-space! I'm glad you came by to check us out. Faith United Church is a group of folks who are doing our very best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We’re not flashy or fancy, and we're not into big productions, but if you’re looking for authentic love, friendly people, relevant teaching, and a chance to pitch in and help out in the community, we might just be perfect for you.
