On Sunday, April 6, 2008 Faith United Church held our 6th Annual "HalleLUAU," a yearly celebration that takes place in anticipation of Spring. Of course, we've never really been able to do much about the weather, since this IS Michigan, but we have a GREAT time together.
As the church gathered for Worship on "HalleLUAU" Sunday, the Sanctuary was decorated with palm trees, beach balls, and other tropical-themed items. Everyone came dressed in their favorite Hawaiian garb and we had a BLAST!
It turned out to be an AWESOME day ...even the weather cooperated! It was an unusually pleasant day and the temperature was somewhere in the mid-50's -- not bad for April in Michigan! We Worshiped together with joy and enthusiasm and then enjoyed a wonderful meal together.
We've pulled together pictures and video from "HalleLUAU" Sunday here on this page. Feel free to surf around because "Surf's up, dudes!"
