BECOMING A MEMBER

Faith United Church encourages those who Worship with us regularly, and believe they have found a church home with us, to consider becoming a member. Of course, those who do not take this step are still welcome to Worship and fellowship with us!

To be considered for membership, an individual must meet the following requirements:

    1. Receive Jesus Christ as Savior.
    2. Follow Jesus' example in Baptism by immersion.
    3. Express agreement with Faith United Church's
        Statements of Faith and Church Covenant.

    4. Commit to serving within the church and our community as God leads.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Faith United Church contact Pastor Steve or one of our Deacons. We'll schedule an appointment to pray about it and discuss it with you. We'll also get you started with NEXT LEVEL, a short course that will help you get to know Faith United Church a little better.

To actually become a member, an individual must be recommended by the Pastor or a Deacon and accepted by the current Church Membership. This is done by unanimous vote, usually at the end of a Sunday Worship Celebration.
