What We
BELIEVE
What We
BELIEVE

In April, 2010 Faith United Church began the VERTICAL MOTION process, a time of Bible study, prayer, brainstorming and conversation that focused on the seven areas of emphasis listed to the left. The process began with prayer and continued through a series of seven Bible Study / Brainstorming Sessions, held in May-June. The ideas from these sessions were recorded and passed on to VERTICAL MOTION Teams. Each team was responsible for developing a report for their particular area of emphasis. The reports were compiled as the final VERTICAL MOTION report, which was completed and adopted in July, 2010.

Since adopting the VERTICAL MOTION  document, Faith United Church has seen God bless with the completion and/or initiation of most of the tasks that it contained. The document was never seen as a formal, or long-term plan. It was simply made up of tasks and ideas that came out of the process of praying and brainstorming together.

The items on this page represent tasks and ideas that came out of the VERTICAL MOTION process which we feel can be accomplished in 2011.
